Chinese Nationals 2017 – AA Finals

After competing for their respective provincial teams on Saturday, the best all-around gymnasts came back on Sunday to fight for themselves in the final and hopefully add another medal to their individual collections. With the men competing in the morning and the girls in the afternoon, some athletes were able to show their best performances while others suffered some disappointments.

Russian Championships 2017 – AA Finals

After finishing second in the team final at the 2016 Olympic Games following a lackluster performance in Glasgow where they were left off the team podium, Russian gymnasts were back into competition at the National Championships taking place in Kazan from March 1st through to March 5th and featuring some new faces hoping to prove their worth in the absence of some older players.

Rio 2016 – MAG AA Finals

After team Olympic champions were crowned, it was time for the individual competition to start with the men’s all-around final. As usual Kohei Uchimura of Japan was the front-runner for the title but for the first time in ages he faced some serious competition in the form of Oleg Verniaiev of Ukraine, making for one of the best all-around finals in recent years.

Russian Cup 2016 – AA Finals

On Friday it was time for the Women’s All-Around Final at the 2016 Russian Cup, in Penza. Adding together the results from the previous qualifications day, Angelina Melnikova was able to take home the Gold medal, followed by Seda Tutkhalyan with the Silver and Aliya Mustafina with Bronze.

Euros 2016 – Junior AA Final

After a day off on Thursday, the top 24 Juniors were back in action on Friday, June 3^rd, to compete for the title of best All-Around gymnast in Europe. Despite some rough performances, Elena Eremina of Russia finished with the Gold, followed by Lynn Genhart of Switzerland with Silver and Martina Basile of Italy with Bronze.
